Ball valve for drinking water

The new ball valve Art IW with 2-piece design is tested and approved for drinking water according to EN 13828 and DVGW W570. The ball with full bore is provided with a big hole on the bottom side to avoid a liquid accumulation in the cavity between ball and ball seals.

The body of the ball valve which is available from ¼” up to 2” is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of chrome-plated brass. The PTFE ball seals and the stem seals made of NBR and FKM guarantee an optimum tightness of the valve. The handle made of zinc-plated steel is equipped with a green plastic coating.
